Staying young
When we remove a little from HABIT, A BIT remains.
When we remove a little more from it, a BIT remains.
When we further remove it, IT remains.
That is why it is said habits die hard.
There is always friction between what is good for us versus what we want. That's why we always do things, as we do them all the time. It would need no more thinking. It would demand no more effort. It would run on autopilot mode, and things get done quickly.
Habits are necessary to achieve anything in life, but not good for our brain to stay young. Now and then, we must break our habits and feed our brains with new info to develop new habits.
