Homecoming
Sometimes we want to pour our hearts out, but that would mean inviting many unexpected guests to uninvited rooms of our minds. Holding back everything that flows within would directly load our hearts. It's an art to acknowledge what flows within and let what is needed to flow out. I find my solution to this in poetry. I am not an expert at it, but I am learning. An affair with a poem is beyond the words it shelters in. Yet, it needs a blend of craftsmanship and creativity to capture the essence in the words of a poem. Poetry helps me explore my interiors and discard the unnecessary before I am one with that.
born during the day
dead by night
bubbles of a river ...
blooming out
