Sometimes kids are in no mood to have homemade food. Sometimes they want to wear the same dress they wore the previous day. Sometimes they are just not in the mood for their regular study. Sometimes they don't feel like attending a Taekwondo class. Is a battle needed for such a small thing? We should be wise to choose our battle(s) as parents. The life span of children has phases, and there are times when they do not want to do certain things. The key is patience. Picking every battle will leave scars that might affect the rest of their life. It is absolutely important to let go of small things to build bigger values in them. We must know that only a happy parent/parents can make a happy child, and a happy child makes a happy parent.
