Many soldiers were hiding, still unaware that the war was over. Rebuilding was a real problem after the war. All that the soldiers fought for no longer existed and fell scattered in ashes. Ask the historians today, and they would agree that the Hiroshima-Nagasaki blast was a blunder. We, humans, are the most evolved ones yet choose to spend a large part of our lives on destructive/worthless things. The weight of such choices pierces harder and longer than the bullet shot in the war.
