Sibling quarrels are always an energy drainer for a mother. My elder daughter said something that irritated my younger daughter. Her only means to reply to it was to take it on me. Knowing that it was coming on me, for everything she did and said, I said, "I love you." At one point, she could not control her smile. She made a fabricated angry face and said, "I love you too but not your other daughter." I laughed at her act. I responded, "If you love me, you would love everything that is mine." She understood where I was going. "You are impossible," she said, switching on some music. She took her raised energy through her dance.
