Follow your heart

We live in a world of choices. Some times we are forced into a situation but yet the choice on how we respond to it is left to us. I have heard people say “I feel guilty”; then I would say the choice has been wrong. Probably in the fight between the heart and brain; brain took the lead; as it commonly happens. This poem is for all those who dared to follow their heart.

I believe in rule breaking
When it comes to self-making;
The path, is less travelled and unseen.
Yet, I want to follow my heart and find my green.

In the road that is less travelled
I may not please anyone,
I way not tease anyone,
I may refrain from complain,
I may fail to sustain,
But I will learn. Learn to move on and give a reason to smile.

I might cross your path but may not stop.
On my path, I will make memories
cherished for centuries
I am sure, it will not be less than any treasuries.

It will not be easy,
Nor will it be cheesy.
My path and I, may not be perfect,
Yet I know, there will be beauty when I reflect.

Let me live, make my path and follow my heart.
For it is one life, I do not want to die with regret.

The kitchen I fell in love with!

It was a cloudy morning, as I watched the sky through the balcony window after getting up. I did not bother to call back since I was already on my way to the lady’s house who had called up. I reached her house by 6:30. am. She was busy finishing up her morning stuffs and took another 5 mins and then got into the passenger seat of my car.  “I called you up, and then I called your land line. Your mother informed that you have already started.” she said. “I thought I will talk to you in person since I already had started, hence did not bother to call back.” I replied. “I was wondering if you would make it or not. I almost had dropped the idea of participating, later when your mother said that you have started, I hurried up.” She said. “hmm.....frankly I went to bed late. My daughter was in a playful

Stitch in time saves nine :)

( Any thing and any person seeks a compassionate heart. The restless brain influenced by the materialistic greed either refrains from taking righteous action or indulges into sinful crime; convincing oneself that everything is in it's hands. It needs a situation like quarantine for hearts to takeover brain and be compassionate. What a short lived soaring compassion! ) Stitch in time saves nine They say a stitch in time saves nine But why would you save nine when it is completely fine? Oh no, then goes the realization - it’s quarantine! The thread running like a non-stop train, Helps restless brain to refrain; Or may be it’s just to convince that   I can make things fine, And console the crooked wise brain. Stop it! It’s a crime, Says heart, the prime. But the heart’s words go unheard without proper claim. Repeated gestures like that are for sure to chime! Its then that neither stitch nor time is going to stop the prime, And it sews its way to sublim
